(Book Review) The Happiness of Pursuit by Chris Guillebeau

Here comes one of the best adventurous books on ADVENTURE. This book show us  a wonderful way to get fulfillment and happiness in our lives. In this book the author talk about many adventurous stories that inspire every human being. This book is filled with real life stories who pursued their adventures that brought joy and fulfillment to their lives.

Chris Guillebeau, The Author of this book  narrated his own story of visiting every single country in the world and how it brought purpose and a sense of achievement to his life. The story of a person who didn’t talked for 17 years, the tenacity of a person who walked through entire America for 7 months, the incredible devotion of a mother towards a goal of making 195 dishes from 195 countries, the never say die attitude of a person who ran 100 marathons & still counting and the path finding journey of an young person who cycled through several countries will make you to think in a new way and will surely motivate you to align your life around a purposeful goal.

One of the best lesson that I learned from this book is that , “monotonousness and chaos are the part of the game when we are achieving any goal .So, just think about why you have started the goal, get inspired and move towards the completion “. Also other snippets such as every quest should have a timelinewhat’s worth living for? matters more than What’s worth dying for?,It is better to be at the bottom of the ladder you want to climb than the top of the one you don’t are the greatest takeaways from this book .

Each and every lesson is deduced from the stories and the practical experiences of the people who has been there and done the job. Go just grab a copy.
